SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information technology, in particular, to a clock network synchronization system. The result is achieved by the fact that in the method for synchronization of slave generators, a sequence of actions is performed to transmit synchronization signals from the master generator to the slave. At the same time, during the transmission of synchronization signals, values are measured, the maximum error of the time interval (METI) and the modified maximum error of the time interval are calculated. A signal with a smaller modified maximum error of the time interval is selected as the main synchronization signal of the secondary master generator (SMG), which is switched to the input of the SMG.

EFFECT: decrease in the value of the METI of the synchronization signal entering the input of the SMG by calculating the modified maximum error of the time interval and introducing the memory factor of the modified maximum error of the time interval of the synchronization signal.
