FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention involves using direct communication with a reference source of time, a channel switched synchronous telecommunication network for progapating time signals and clock network synchronisation signals in order to generate and store time signals. Generation, storage and propagation of time signals is realised by a time signal propagating apparatus.
EFFECT: independence from the electromagnetic environment and the state of satellite radio navigation systems and high accuracy of tying time signals to the time scale of the reference source of time.
