FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology and can be used in the creation of spacecraft (SC) block-modular design. The method for assembling the payload module (PM) of the spacecraft consists in the sequential assembly of honeycomb panels on the central part of the spacecraft using threaded connections. In this case, the PM consists of two support panels, two instrument panels, which are installed and fixed on the support panels, and an astroplate panel, which is installed and fixed on the support and instrument panels and on the central part of the spacecraft. The supporting panels are located in the XOZ plane and are intended for installation and fixing on the central part of the spacecraft. Dashboards are located parallel to the XOY plane. The astroplate panel is located in the YOZ plane. Each of the instrument panels is mounted on the support panels by means of two guide studs with a smooth part, located in line along the X axis. The astroplate panel is mounted on each of the dashboards using two mounting bolts with a smooth part, which are located in the same line along the Y axis.
EFFECT: quality of assembly of PM SC is improved.
