SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, specifically to methods for assembling housings of small spacecraft. To assemble the small spacecraft housing, honeycomb panels are successively assembled on the housing load-bearing structure made in the form of four power posts using threaded connections. Small spacecraft housing consists of two instrument panels. Each instrument panel is mounted on the foundation panel, and the base panel is mounted on the instrument ones by means of four bolts with a smooth part so that two of them with their smooth part form gap-free joints in round holes, and the others – in round holes and grooves, providing the possibility of free movement of instrument panels with power posts along the Y axis. In other points of fixation of instrument panels with foundation panel and base panel threaded connections are made with gaps in smooth parts of mounting holes.

EFFECT: improving the quality of assembly of small spacecraft by achieving a stable relative position of the honeycomb panels of small spacecraft between themselves.
