SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method intended for emptying containers containing a frozen blood preparation under the influence of gravity. The device for emptying containers containing a frozen blood preparation under the influence of gravity contains a unit for emptying control, in turn containing: an automated unit designed to check the weight of emptied containers, which, in turn, contains: a) a load determination system designed to measure the weight of emptied containers, b) a unit for air pressure measurement designed to measure the pressure in the room, in which the emptying device is located, c) a measurement compensation unit designed to adjust the value of load provided by the load determination system based on the measurement of the pressure in the room provided by the unit for air pressure measurement, while the weight check unit generates a “non-empty” signal, if the value of the adjusted load exceeds or is equal to the specified value.
EFFECT: creation of a container emptier containing means for determining the successful procedure of emptying under the influence of gravity in a reliable and automated way.
