FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device for compensation of hyperglycemia in diabetic patients is made in form of portable device and includes unit for diagnostics of expired air, configured to generate signal on volume of exhaled air and concentration of glucose in condensate of exhaled air, electronic unit configured to output sound alarm signal and visual information and unit for dosed injection of therapeutic aerosol. Unit of exhaled air diagnostics contains serially connected labial exhaled air intake with spirometry apparatus, concentrator of taken aerosol, throttle and capacitor-detector with replaceable cartridge with cooling mixture or cooling ring and measuring electrochemical cell for detecting concentration of glucose in exhaled air condensate. Electronic unit has series-connected recorder of detected signal, memory device, comparator circuit of detected and reference signals, circuit of assessment of amount of corrective action and display panel for visual display of information on content of glucose in air condensate. Unit for dosed injection of therapeutic aerosol comprises guide nozzle, aerosol can with liquid drug, equipped with spraying piston head. Cartridge is fixed in mounting seat in device housing and has possibility of manual activation by pressing on spraying piston head.

EFFECT: invention provides efficient and safe compensation of hyperglycemia in diabetic patients.
