FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the underground well bore and the method for formation thereof. The underground well bore comprises an inner wall formed in a geologic formation, defining an elongated recess. The wall defines the shape of the cross section in a plane perpendicular to the axis passing through the recess. The shape of the cross section comprises a first and a second circular arcs, both with the centre on the axis, but with different radii. The underground well bore also comprises a drilling tool located in the recess. The radius of the first circular arc is greater, and the radius of the second circular arc is smaller than the radius of the cross section of the drilling tool.
EFFECT: reduction in the energy consumption in the borehole for the formation of an underground well bore, increase in the operating life of the tool.
