METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING LIQUOR-DYNAMIC, VASCULAR AND RELATED DISORDERS IN THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2771416 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used to diagnose liquor-dynamic, vascular and related disorders in the central nervous system. With the help of encephalovisiometry, data on slow-wave brain activity are obtained in the form of indicators of the level of the patient’s permanent potentials (LPP) in five zones: frontal (Fz), central/parietal (Cz), occipital (Oz), right (Td) and left (Ts) temporal at rest of the patient. The obtained indicators are compared with the norm, determining the deviation from the norm in mv. Then, a number of stimulation tests are performed to activate the cortical and subcortical structures of the patient’s brain and obtain additional data on the deviation of the considered indicators from the norm in the conditions of activation of the brain in accordance with the features of the diagnosis of the alleged violations. The visualization of the obtained factual data is analyzed for the complex and systemic perception of all multifactorial deviations of the LPP from the norm in all five areas of the brain, indicating the sought disorders of the central nervous system. Analyzing the ranges of specific deviations from the norm and relying on the visualization of encephalovisiometry, the presence and specificity of disorders in the central nervous system of the patient is determined.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to clarify and/or confirm violations in the central nervous system by determining the deviation from the norm of the measured parameters of the LPP.
