FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, psychophysiological studies and is intended to diagnose anxiety in children. Total index of constant potential level (CPL) of brain, namely of the frontal, central, occipital, right and left temporal parts in children aged 7-10 years. If the total CPL equals to 52-76 mW, child's anxiety level is considered to be normal. If values are in the range 77-100 mW the child's anxiety level is considered to be high. When CPL total value exceeds 100 mW if CPLs of each brain portion at age standard scale of energy state exceed the medium level, the child's anxiety is considered to be high.
EFFECT: method provides objective, reproducibility and accuracy of determining the anxiety level, as well as release of physiological markers of anxiety in children.
