SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a carbon monoxide detector. The detector comprises: a microcontroller for reading an analogue signal from the semiconductor carbon monoxide concentration sensor connected thereto; a liquid crystal indicator connected via a digital interface to the microcontroller receiving the data on gas concentration; a NEOWEY M590 GSM module operating in the GSM standard in the 900/1800/1900 MHz frequency range for sending SMS messages to the mobile phone of the user if excess concentration of carbon monoxide is determined; a USB-UART digital interface converter microchip of the CH340G brand, connected to the microcontroller for the possibility of connecting the cable to the built-in USB connector of a personal computer for additional notification if excess concentration of carbon monoxide is determined; an LED and a sound speaker, connected via matching circuits to the microcontroller to provide light and sound warning is excess concentration of gas is determined; a low-frequency pulsation generation unit connected to a vibrating collar to provide tactile warning if excess concentration of carbon monoxide is determined.
