FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. The angle of strabismus is measured, while the angle of strabismus is measured on a video oculograph in projection when looking directly without optimal optical correction and in optimal optical correction. If the angle of strabismus without correction is more than 15 degrees, and with correction it is from 0 to 5 degrees, then laser correction of hypermetropia in combination with concomitant convergent accommodative strabismus is indicated.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate the accommodative component of strabismus by eliminating hypermetropic refraction with restoring the state of orthotropy in patients with moderate and high hyperopia and concomitant concomitant convergent accommodative strabismus.
