SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely fragmentation ammunition. A fragmentation ammunition contains a body, a main explosive charge with metal fuel, a central cup with an additional explosive charge, one of the ends of which is equipped with an initiating node. The central cup is made of aluminum. The mass of the additional charge is 21-25% of the total mass of the charges. Aluminum with a particle size of 1-10 microns is used as the metal fuel of the main charge. The mass of aluminum in the main charge is 25-35% of the mass of the charge. The product of the density of the explosive and the detonation rate of the additional charge is the product of the density of the explosive and the detonation rate of the main charge in the ratio (0.70-0.85) ρadd. Dadd. > ρmain. Dmain ,where ρadd is the density of the explosive of the additional charge, Dadd is the detonation rate of the additional charge, ρmain is the density of the explosive of the main charge, Dmain the detonation rate of the main charge.
EFFECT: increase in the propellant ability and high-explosive action by creating a recompressed detonation.
