FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive charges for ammunition. Charge includes having a blind axial cylindrical channel cartridge of an individual and/or mixed brisant explosive, a lens, recessed in explosive cartridge and closing inlet of channel on one side and arranged on side of lens tightly to cartridge generator of a flat impact wave with initiation of detonation. Generator of flat shock wave and lens are arranged on same axis with channel. Lens is made of structural material with acoustic stiffness, greater than acoustic stiffness of explosive of cartridge, in form of a disc with diameter greater than that of channel. Explosive layer thickness in cartridge above lens is greater than critical thickness of its detonation. Invention increase detonation speed of standard explosives by 1.5÷1.75 times, as well as high power ammunition without replacement of explosive substances with more powerful substances.
EFFECT: high rate of detonation and power of ammunition.
