FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for obtaining ammoniated brine in the production of soda ash by the ammonia method. The installation includes an absorber of carbon dioxide and the main fraction of ammonia, an absorber of ammonia residues, a refrigerator and a pump. The absorber of carbon dioxide and the main fraction of ammonia contains plates with a vortex contact device on each, a liquid distributor for the introduction of ammoniated brine from the circulation circuit. In the upper part there is a pipe for the introduction of a vapor-gas mixture from the distillation stage, and in the lower part there are pipes for the gas output to the ammonia residue absorber, the output of the production ammoniated brine, the input of partially ammoniated brine and the output of ammoniated brine to the circulation circuit. The body of the ammonia residue absorber is divided into three parts by two blind plates. Under the upper plate there are gas inlet pipes from the carbon dioxide absorber and the main fraction of ammonia and the input of weakly ammoniated brine. The body parts are connected by gas flues. Under the lower plate there is a brine inlet pipe, and in the lower zone of each part of the housing there are outlet pipes for partially ammoniated brine.

EFFECT: increase in the throughput capacity of the installation is provided for both gas and liquid.
