FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, namely to the production of a tea beverage of birch fungus. The method includes the purification of birch fungus from foreign material, soaking in water, grinding, granulation and drying. The resulting mixture is made in the form of granules. Potato or tapioca starch can be used to obtain granules. Granular birch fungus is characterized by increased extraction of a chromogenic polyphenol carbon complex, which is a biogenic stimulator. When making a beverage, granules preserve their integrity, are quickly precipitated, and give a transparent, rich and useful infusion with a noble taste.
EFFECT: experimental and clinical studies show perspectivity and relevance of the use of birch fungus preparations with gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, polyps of the stomach and intestine, as well as oncological diseases.
