FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to methods for rehabilitation for neurological disorders, and can be used for the rehabilitation of children with impaired function of facial muscles, due to damage to the facial nerve. A complex of six consecutive stages is carried out with the child, consisting of massage and gymnastics in a certain sequence. At the first stage, a point effect is carried out on three active points outside the face area; at the second stage, a lymphatic drainage massage of the neck-collar zone is carried out; at the third stage, exercises are carried out for maximum relaxation of the facial muscles; at the fourth stage, acupressure is performed to correct facial muscles; at the fifth stage, facial massage is performed; at the sixth stage, active corrective gymnastics for the face is performed. The duration of the complex is no more than 30 minutes. The invention can be used most effectively in rehabilitation and recovery institutions.
EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the recovery time of the activity of facial muscle movements from the affected side.
