SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for drilling rigs and installations for the repair and maintenance of oil and gas wells, in particular to drilling bases, and can be used in drilling and maintenance of exploratory and production oil and gas wells. The drilling base contains the upper and lower platforms connected by means of a frame of support posts pivotally connected to the bases of the upper and lower platforms. Each support post is made of two parts connected by an intermediate hinge, which ensures the folding of each post in the shape of a chevron. The drilling base is equipped with braces mounted pivotally on the upper and lower platforms. The braces are pivotally connected to each other by means of a connecting element with a groove for moving the rod mounted on the support posts on the axes of the intermediate hinges.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of vertical folding of the drilling base without changing the horizontal dimensions.
