FIELD: nuclear power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, namely to a means of controlling the neutron flux to ensure the control, management and protection of hull nuclear reactors. The invention can be used to correct the error in the readings of the power of a nuclear reactor and neutron flux monitoring equipment based on the readings of direct charging detectors of the in-reactor control system. Determination of the corrected value of the power of a nuclear reactor is based on the correction of the power of the neutron flux monitoring equipment according to the readings of non-reactor neutron flux sensors, taking into account their dependence on the form of energy distribution in the core obtained from the in-reactor detectors of the in-reactor control system.
EFFECT: ensuring the safety and reliability of the operation of a nuclear reactor by ensuring timely and accurate determination of error correction of the power readings of a nuclear reactor under any operating conditions.
