SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to methods for decomposition of straw and stubble as sources of mineral nutrition of agricultural crops. The method includes grinding, processing with a working solution, spreading and burying the straw and stubble in the soil simultaneously in a single process operation. An aqueous solution of the "Sternifag" agent diluted in a ratio of 1/750 is used as a working solution, the introduced dose of the working solution is 300 l/ha. Re-processing with a working solution of the "Sternifag" agent diluted in a ratio of 1/750, with an introduced dose of 300 l/ha, is executed with a sprayer during the springtime pre-sowing tillage.

EFFECT: accelerated decomposition of straw and stubble and increase in the content of nutrients in the soil.
