FIELD: car industry; dump trucks.

SUBSTANCE: lining (100) for body (10) of a dump truck contains main lining elements (110) passing over main surfaces of the specified body, and transitional lining elements (120) passing over edge and/or corner parts of body (10) of the dump truck. Each transitional lining element (120) forms a transitional section of the lining between at least two non-parallel main lining elements (110) of specified main lining elements (110). Specified transitional lining elements (120) contain at least one non-linear transitional lining element (200, 300), which has first shelf (211, 311) and second shelf (212, 312) passing in corresponding non-parallel directions, namely in direction (221, 321) of the first shelf and in direction (222, 322) of the second shelf. The invention also relates to transitional lining element (200, 300, 400) for body (10) of the dump truck and to a method for assembling lining (100).

EFFECT: invention increases the reliability and reduces the wear of the lining.
