SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hollow chamber profile. The technical result is achieved by a hollow chamber profile (1) for a window or door made of thermoplastic plastic. Said thermoplastic plastic therein forms inner walls (3, 3', 3'') and outer walls (4, 4', 4'', 4''') of the hollow chamber profile (1). The inner walls (3, 3', 3'') and the outer walls (4, 4', 4'', 4''') therein surround the hollow chambers (2, 2', 2'', 2''') of the profile (1). At least one of the inner walls (3, 3', 3'') and/or the outer walls (4, 4', 4'', 4''') is therein provided with a low-emission coating (12, 12', 12'') and/or a low-emission film (13, 13', 13''). The low-emission coating (12') and/or the low-emission film (13, 13', 13'') on the outer wall (4) exposed to weather conditions is therein provided with a weather resistance-improving layer.
EFFECT: improvement in the heat insulation properties.
