FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a window or door hollow chamber profile is proposed, wherein the hollow profile (2) is produced by means of the extrusion method. At least one insulating profile (3) filled with insulating foam (4) is additionally produced. Thereinafter the hollow profile (2) and the insulating profile (3) are assembled into the hollow chamber profile (1) by means of the mechanical fastener (5), wherein they are connected to each other. When assembling the hollow profile (2) and the insulating profile (3) into the hollow chamber profile (1), between the hollow profile (2) and the insulating profile (3) an additional hollow chamber (8) is formed, serving to drain moisture from the hollow chamber profile (1). Wherein the insulating profile (3) forms the entire outer surface (6) of the hollow chamber profile (1), which is exposed to weather conditions impact. The hollow chamber profile produced in the manner described above is proposed as well.

EFFECT: increase of dimensional stability of the hollow profile and reducing the consumption of materials while producing the profile.
