SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatuses for forming beds from granules. Automated mechanism for forming a bed from granules can comprise a support conveyor, the configuration whereof provides support for the formed bed of granules, and a granule dispenser provided with multiple individually controlled loading chutes located along the width of the support conveyor, wherein the configuration of each of the multiple loading chutes provides dosing of granules from the loading chute to the support conveyor for the joint formation of a bed of granules. A control mechanism detects the thickness of the generated bed of granules, and a controller compares the detected thickness with the target thickness profile and transmits signals to one or more of the individually controlled loading chutes in order to adjust the flow of granules to the support conveyor.
EFFECT: ensured automated formation of beds from granules.
