SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmacology and medicine; it is intended for the effect on inflammation mechanisms in mammals. In particular, the use of a compound of the formula (Ib) is described, as well as a pharmaceutical composition based on this compound as an anti-inflammatory agent that affects inflammation mechanisms in animals. In addition, the group of inventions relates to a method (in vivo) for the suppression or inhibition of response inflammatory reactions by using the compound (Ib) and to a method for the suppression or inhibition of expression of at least one cytokine by injecting the compound (Ib). The present invention relates to compounds of functionalized saccharides used as anti-inflammatory agents that affect inflammation mechanisms in mammals.
EFFECT: providing an effective impact on inflammation mechanisms in mammals.
