SUBSTANCE: system for ensuring the security of cash transactions via bank cards contains a processing centre of the card issuing bank, a processing centre of the acquiring bank, a plastic carrier for the bank card of the bank card holder, communication apparatuses of the bank card holder and the authorised person of the bank card holder; the processing centre of the issuing bank is configured to: set limits for crediting transactions on the bank card of the holder, based whereon a suspicious transaction is identified; search and locate the technical apparatus used to make attempt the suspicious transaction; compile all found information and send said information in the form of an authenticated message to the communication apparatus of the authorised person of the bank card holder; wherein the communication apparatus of the authorised person of the bank card holder is configured to approve or deny a suspicious transaction.
EFFECT: increased security of cash transactions via bank cards.
