SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of composite materials and pertains to a cellular multilayer composite material and a method for production thereof. The composite material includes at least one layer of a synthetic composite material produced from a mixture including thermally expanding polymer microspheres, a hot-setting hardener, a binder, wherein the synthetic composite material has a cellular structure with channels filled with the binder, and the configuration and shape of the channels of cells of the cellular structure is determined based on a pre-calculated mathematical model.

EFFECT: creation of a cellular multilayer composite material with high strength characteristics.
