FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering; it can be used in a chamber of latent heat exchangers, used in distillation devices. In a device for a chamber of a latent heat exchanger, the chamber contains an evaporator in a capillary evaporation mode on its inner surface and a condenser in a capillary condensation mode on its outer surface, with a system of dosed liquid supply to micro-grooves or micro-waviness of the inner surface of the evaporator.
EFFECT: in the device, the formation of thin water films on the evaporator surface is prevented, wherein the device provides high coefficients of latent heat transfer.
