SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, in particular to milking equipment. A milking cup liner contains a cylinder closing the inner space for receiving a nipple. The cylinder in a rest state has a polygonal shape of cross-section, which forms a set of side parts and a set of angular parts, each of which connects two of the specified side parts. Each of side parts has a thickness of a sidewall on at least a longitudinal central line of the side part along the cylinder length. Each of angular parts has a thickness of an angular wall on at least a longitudinal central line of the angular part along the cylinder length. The thickness of the angular wall exceeds the thickness of the sidewall along the cylinder length. The thickness of the angular wall decreases along the upper part in the direction to the lower part of the cylinder. Each of side parts in the rest state has a convex bend towards the inner space and a longitudinal central axis along the cylinder length.

EFFECT: compressing properties, and contact with a nipple and a cylinder are improved.
