FIELD: fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for ignition. Proposed is a composition of an igniting and heating agent, including a combustible body constituting a hardened solution of stearic acid and alcohol, wherein the composition constitutes an ether aldehyde fraction preheated to a temperature of 65 to 79°C, dissolving the granules of stearic acid, saturated, as an agent increasing the combustion temperature, with methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), with the following ratio of components, wt.%: stearic acid 3.0 to 15.0; methyl tert-butyl ether 5.0 to 15.0, ether aldehyde fraction the rest. Also proposed is a method for producing the igniting and heating agent.
EFFECT: production of an environmentally sustainable igniting agent with high heat transfer and long burning time.
