FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of requesting reconnection. An updated access level key is generated using the apparatus. A reconnection request message is transmitted to the target base station using the apparatus to resume radio resource control (RRC) connection. A reconnection denial message is received from the target base station using the apparatus, wherein the reconnection denial message indicates that the resumption of RRC connection is denied. After receiving the reconnection denial message, the updated access level key is deleted using the apparatus; and the first access level key is saved as the current access level key using the apparatus. The first access level key is therein the access level key used by the communication apparatus and the initial base station accessed by the apparatus, before the communication apparatus transitions to the inactive state.
EFFECT: increase in the security of connections.
