SUBSTANCE: method includes: sending by a centralized unit (hereinafter – CU) of a search call message to a distributed unit (hereinafter – DU), where the search call message contains indication information indicating that the search call is a search call coming from a base network, or the search call is a search call coming from a radio access network; and determination by DU, in accordance with indication information, of that the search call is the search call coming from the base network, or the search call is the search call coming from the radio access network.
EFFECT: prevention of failure of a search call of a terminal device in a radio access network in DU-CU architecture.
