FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for assessing the strength of road dressings by static or dynamic loading when performing diagnostics, certification and acceptance tests of newly built and repaired road dressings. The method provides for determining the temperature of the connected layer by its thickness by drilling to its various depths, followed by measuring the temperature, for example, with a contact thermometer. According to the obtained temperature curve, taking into account the dependence of the elastic modulus of the layer material on temperature, the position of the neutral axis in the cross section of the connected layer is determined when it bends due to loading. As the ratio of the sum of the products of the temperature of the fibers of the connected layer by their distance to the neutral axis to the total distance of the fibers in question to the neutral axis, the reduced temperature of the connected layer is found. Measurements of the temperature of the connected layer and elastic modules are repeated at different times of the day, and according to the calculated values of the reduced temperatures and simultaneously measured elastic modules, a graphical or analytical dependence of the elastic modules of the pavement on the reduced temperature of the connected layer is found, according to which the elastic modulus of the pavement is determined for the temperature value taken as reference. The correction factor is found as the ratio of the modulus of elasticity corresponding to the temperature taken as reference to the modulus of elasticity measured at the actual reduced temperature. The correction coefficients are determined at different times of the day and plot the dependence of the coefficient on the time of measurement. All measurement results performed during the day are multiplied by the corresponding coefficients determined by the established dependence of the coefficients on the time of measurements.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of determining the elastic modulus of the road dressing due to a more adequate consideration of the effect of the temperature of the bending layer on the elastic modulus of the structure calculated by deflections as a result of static or dynamic loading.
