SUBSTANCE: method involves throwing load along guiding bar onto shock-absorbing device to provide deformation of ground layer through die, with load being changed according to law close to trapezoidal; detecting longitudinal λ11 and transverse λ22 of ground layer deformation, which are developed in time, by means of deformation sensor and rocker arm; detecting maximal deformation Hcomp of shock-absorbing device by means of maximal deformation indicator; determining on the basis of resultant data parameters of longitudinal and transverse creep test curves and instant longitudinal modulus of ground layer deformation and function of shear and volume creep rates.
