FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises generating wave field by hitting on the structure with specified amplitude-temporal and amplitude-frequency characteristics and measuring the response of the structure by means of piezoceramic vibration accelerometers at reference points at various distances from the center of the contact area on the surface of the pavement in the direction parallel to the axis of the road. The data are used for calculation of the amplitude-temporal dependencies of displacements, wave field characteristics, and spectral characteristics of wave field, which is used for the estimation of the condition of the road structures: pavement, base, and roadbed.
EFFECT: improved method.
