SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. A cone-beam computerised tomography is performed, 7 criteria are evaluated according to the prototype and additionally 7 more: a visit to the dentist or absence of visits for 1 month, removal of 1 or more teeth or absence thereof for the past 3 months, presence of toothache for the past 3 months or absence thereof, presence of foul-smelling destructured suppurative discharge on puncture of the maxillary sinus or absence thereof, presence of signs of suppurative inflammation of soft tissues of the orodental area or absence thereof, presence of foreign bodies in the cavity of the maxillary sinus or absence thereof, the presence of signs of periodontitis in the CT image or absence thereof. Each criterion is then scored. With a final score of 5 points or more, odontogenic rhinosinusitis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method increases the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of diagnostics.
