FIELD: locking systems.

SUBSTANCE: gate closing mechanism (16) is made with the possibility of being mounted on already existing loop (2) with an eye bolt having protruding threaded part (14). It contains case (17); drive lever (18) mounted with the possibility of rotation around first axis (19) of rotation on case (17); a drive placed in case (17) for rotation of drive lever (18), and connecting mechanism (21) for connection of the drive lever to threaded part (14) of eye bolt (9). Connecting mechanism (21) contains inner sleeve (22) screwed on the protruding part of eye bolt (9), and outer sleeve (23) mounted on inner sleeve (22) with the possibility of sliding back and forward and mounted on drive lever (18) with the possibility of rotation around second axis (24) of rotation.

EFFECT: gate closing mechanism can be mounted on already existing gate without removal of door (1) from support (3); in addition, with the same angular moment that can be applied by gate closing mechanism (16) to door (1), smaller torsion forces act on drive lever (18).
