FIELD: locking devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices, structures, mechanisms that are used in security systems during the operation of curtain, sectional and other lift gates of various geometric sizes and shapes, namely, lift gate locks. The lift gate lock mounted on the lower gate truss contains a lever connected by at least one spring to the lower truss body and connected to a flexible connection for lifting/lowering the gate leaf. The lift gate lock also includes two elements of the lock body, fixed together by means of the base of the body. On one side of each element of the lock body, two brake elements are fixed on the common first axis, made with the possibility of moving around the first axis relative to the elements of the lock body and the base of the housing. Each brake element is made with a convex part. On the opposite side of the common first axis, the elements of the lock body are connected to each other by a common second axis, on which a lever is also fixed, made with the possibility of moving around the second axis relative to the elements of the lock body and the base of the body. The lever is connected by means of a connecting element to the front parts of the brake elements, which are made with the ability to ensure the movement of the lock mechanism along the guide profile of the gate portal in the lock state “unlocked” when the flexible connection device acts on the lock lever with a force exceeding the force from the springs connecting the lever and the body of the lower truss, and with the possibility of stopping the brake elements with their convex parts into the guide profile of the gate portal in the “locked” lock state, and if the flexible connection is broken, only the force of the stretched spring acts on the lever, transmitting the force through the lever to the convex parts of the stops of the brake elements of the lock, which in turn clamp the guide profile of the gate portal, which leads to a friction force blocking the movement of the lock along the guide profile of the gate.

EFFECT: more reliable operation of the lock mechanism is provided.
