FIELD: materials and products protecting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paints and varnishes for protecting materials and products, mainly metal, from atmospheric corrosion in aggressive environmental conditions. An epoxy composition for an anticorrosive protective coating is described, including components in the following ratio, wt.%: cycloaliphatic epoxy resin with an epoxy equivalent of 227.8 g/eq - 45.8-55%; epoxy rubber Ekan-3 - 4.2-10%, muscovite mica - 15-35%, titanium dioxide (rutile) - 5%, toluene - 42.9-66.7%, hardener polyesteramine T-403 - 30-40%. As additional components, the composition may contain SiO2 microspheres, granite chips in the amount of 5-20 wt.%. Coatings can be obtained using the following hardeners: mixtures of polyesteramine with polyethylenepolyamine, isophoronediamine, mixtures of polyesteramine with isophoronediamine.
EFFECT: proposed protective material provides high adhesion to the metal substrate, hardness, elasticity in bending, and impact strength; the proposed protective material has increased resistance to corrosion, including that caused by aggressive environmental conditions.
