FIELD: corrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of metals from corrosion and can be used to prevent corrosion of steel elements in boilers and water heating systems. The method for inhibiting corrosion of grade 3 steel includes the addition of sodium oleate to an aqueous medium, while sodium oleate is used with a concentration of 500-1400 mg/l.
EFFECT: simplification of the method while reducing the concentration of the corrosion inhibitor and improving the environmental parameters of water after treatment with the inhibitor.
