FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the control of hydrostatic transmission of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle contains a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic engine, the first friction coupling with a hydraulic drive, the second friction coupling with a hydraulic drive, and an electric pump. The first friction coupling is intended for the connection of the hydraulic pump to wheels. The second friction coupling is intended for the connection of the hydraulic engine to wheels. The electric pump controls both couplings at the same time. Hydrostatic transmission is made with the possibility of switching to a standby mode, in which an electronic control unit powers the electric pump with intermediate electric power in a value between electric power of opening couplings and electric power of closing couplings.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the device and economy is achieved.
