SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to lifting and transport equipment, in particular to cargo handling devices. In order to bring the center of mass of cargo to a canting axis by means of canting nodes connected to fasteners rigidly fixed on opposite sides of cargo, a fixing point of fasteners on opposite sides of cargo is determined by calculation. The longitudinal axis of cargo is positioned perpendicular to the canting axis. Each fastener is made in the form of a flat part equipped with a dovetail groove on the outer end side, made parallel to the longitudinal axis of cargo. Each canting unit is made in the form of a shoe equipped on one side with a dovetail protrusion corresponding to the groove in the fastener, made along the side surface of large-sized elongated cargo with a cross section similar to an isosceles trapezoid in the fastener fixed on the side of cargo. On the opposite side, the shoe is equipped with a dovetail groove, the longitudinal axis of which is located vertically, into which a bolt head is inserted, made in the form of a counter dovetail protrusion. On the part of the bolt protruding from the groove, a trunnion is put on with the possibility of moving relatively to its longitudinal axis, equipped with pinion protrusions on its end surface, corresponding to pinion grooves made on the surface of the shoe. By moving shoes relatively to fasteners in the horizontal direction and bolts with a head in the form of a dovetail protrusion relatively to shoes in the vertical direction, the center of mass of cargo is brought to the canting axis, the resulting position of the center of mass is fixed by moving the trunnion, cargo is canted. Lifting of cargo is carried out by a lifting device.
EFFECT: simplification of the process of canting cargo using a single crane with a traverse from horizontal to vertical position and vice versa in the process of preparing for the test of a test object is provided.
