FIELD: cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sunscreens and cosmetics. The proposed sunscreen composition contains: (a) at least 10 wt.% of one or more UV filters; (b) from 0.55 to 1 wt.% of hydrophobically modified polyurethane; (c) from 0.1 to 0.3 wt.% of viscosity-increasing polymer, where viscosity-increasing polymer is acrylate cross-polymer; and (d) at least 0.1 wt.% of glyceryl stearate.

EFFECT: this composition has light, watery, pleasant consistency, while providing excellent protection against UV radiation.
