SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to ophthalmic surgery, and can be used in surgical treatment of idiopathic macular retinal tears. For this purpose, a three-port 25-27G vitrectomy is performed in the presence of an irrigation solution, isolating and removing the posterior hyaloid membrane. A drop of a perfluoroorganic compound (PFOC) is then applied to the macular tear. After the supply of the irrigation solution is terminated, the inner limiting membrane is stained and removed. A drop of the perfluoroorganic compound is then aspirated, and after replacing the irrigation solution with air, a drop of platelet-enriched blood plasma is applied to the area of the tear. After one minute, a drop of PFOC is applied to the formed fibrin film, followed by immediately replacing the air with the irrigation solution. After five minutes, the drop of PFOC is removed by passive aspiration.

EFFECT: elimination of macular retinal tear, exclusion of hydration of the posterior cortical layers of the lens in phakic eyes during surgery and in the postoperative period, and elimination of condensation on the posterior capsule or on the surface of the intraocular lens in pseudofakic eyes, as well as improvement in visualisation of the surgical field, reduction in the risk of displacement of the fibrin film when PFOC is removed, reduction in the risk of postoperative complications, such as cataract.
