SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power and can be used in the management of autonomous hybrid power plants. The effect is achieved due to the fact that in the method for controlling a hybrid power plant, containing wind and wave power generation channels, a diesel generator channel, a battery connected to a switching unit to which a voltage inverter and a transformer connected in series are connected, the diesel shaft speed -generator set varies depending on the output power of the wind and wave channels and the load power, based on current and statistical information about wind speed, ambient temperature, output power of the power generation channels and load power, the predicted load power is determined in accordance with the tree search algorithm using the Monte Carlo method, based on the predicted output power of the diesel generator set, determined as the difference between the predicted load power and the predicted output power of the wind and wave channels, in accordance with the multi-parameter characteristic of the internal combustion engine, the optimal speed of the diesel generator shaft in terms of fuel consumption is determined.
EFFECT: ensuring the optimal mode of operation of the DDG in terms of fuel consumption as part of a hybrid power plant.
