FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of mineral processing and can be used in the processing of minerals, the separated components of which differ in density, specific magnetic susceptibility and floatability, for example, iron ores of various compositions. The method for enrichment of iron ores includes classification, grinding, magnetic-gravitational concentration in a moving stream, treatment with reagents. The pulp is treated with a cationic Flotigam EDA collector at a flow rate of 100 to 300 g/t and a depressant, which is dextrin at a flow rate of 150 to 250 g/t, the processing time is from 3 to 7 minutes. Next, the pulp is aerated and fed under pressure tangentially relative to the inner walls of the hydrocyclone body, in which magnetic-gravity concentration and flotation are carried out to obtain iron concentrate and tailings. In the hydrocyclone feed pipe, the pulp is magnetized by a constant magnetic field with induction successively increasing from 0 to 0.1 T.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of separation of iron ores and increasing the specific productivity of the process.
