FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of iron ore charges and may be used at mining-and-processing integrated works for production of high-quality iron or concentrates. Proposed method comprises conditioning the pulps of iron ore concentrates by depressor, cation collector and medium regulator, further flotation of silicate minerals in the main flotation the chamber product of which is subjected to check flotation to produce final high-quality low-silica iron-ore concentrate and foam product to be directed, together with foam product of the main flotation, to cleaner flotation with production of foam and chamber products. Cleaner flotation chamber products are directed to finishing operation including desludging and magnetic separation to produce commercial-quality industrial concentrate while foam product of cleaner flotation is subjected to finishing operation including post grinding, classification and magnetic separation to produce concentrate and tails.

EFFECT: higher quality of concentrates.
