SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering. The dam includes a reinforced concrete foundation 1, in which steel struts 3 are installed, having supports 4 fixed in the projections 2 of the foundation 1. Lower channels 5 and upper channels 6 are attached to the struts 3. Two rows of slats 7 are attached to the shelves of channels 5 and 6. Between the rows of slats 7 there are air-filled hermetic containers 8 made of elastic material. Hermetic containers 8 have a rectangular shape and spring valves. To protect houses from flooding, hermetic containers 8 are inserted between the rows of slats 7. Hermetic containers 8 are inflated with air. Hermetic containers are quickly inserted into the dam of the proposed design by a small number of people. It does not require heavy expenses.

EFFECT: reducing the time for preparing the dam for flooding.
