FIELD: radio measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio measurements, makes it possible to determine the amplitude of rectangular pulses enriched with interference, or with a distorted shape and can be used in the construction of digital meters of pulse signal parameters. The mode, being in this case the most probable value of the voltage samples, is taken as an estimate of the pulse amplitude. The meter implementing the claimed method contains an analog-to-digital converter, a pulse isolation unit and a mode detection unit, the output of which is the output of the meter, the input of which is the signal input of the analog-to-digital converter, the output of which is connected to the input of the mode detection unit, the clock input of the analog-to-digital converter is connected to the output of the pulse isolation unit.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measurements due to the fact that pulses are isolated from the incoming input voltage, which are converted into digital form by sampling and quantization, digital voltage samples are stored, and then the mode of the samples obtained by the above is found.
