FIELD: pneumatics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pneumatic hammer. Hammer comprises a striker, a cylindrical body, a working tool, a handle with an intake apparatus, a divider with an intake throttle valve, an outlet channel, and an axial hole wherein a tube is installed and secured with a longitudinal outlet channel and a radial outlet channel exiting in the side surface thereof, an annular outlet chamber with an outlet. The prechamber formed by the body of the handle and the divider is in communication with a compressed air network via an air supply channel. The striker is made with a through axial channel for the passage of the tube and divides the cavity of the cylindrical body into a working stroke chamber on the side of the divider and an idle stroke chamber on the side of the working tool. The cylindrical body is equipped with a bypass groove channel with permanently open exits into the idle stroke chamber and the working stroke chamber. The bypass screw-shaped groove channel is made on the side surface of the internal cavity of the cylindrical body in the form of a drainage screw-shaped groove channel with a cross section in the form of an isosceles triangle.
EFFECT: strength properties of the striker are increased.
