FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a printing substrate and to a method for printing on a substrate. Invention additionally relates to a plastisol composition for use in the method according to the invention and for use in producing the printing substrate according to the invention. Disclosed is a printing substrate, wherein a printed polymer layer is present on the surface of the substrate. The printed polymer layer contains a polymer selected from one or more polymers from a group including polyvinyl chloride, a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, and a terpolymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and ethylene; a plasticiser; a colouring agent; and calcium carbonate.
EFFECT: improved optical density of the printing substrates and the printing process.
